Data Sale - Overview |
||||
| AMG group has entered into an
agreement with the Directorate General of Hydrocarbons (DGH), the highest
oil regulatory authority functioning under the Ministry of Petroleum, Government
of India, for conduction Gravity and Magnetic surveys over three highly
prospective onshore oil blocks within the country. As per the Announcement Letter issued by the Director General soon after the signing of the agreement, India does not have a comprehensive Aero Gravity and Magnetic map and hence, this is the first time that Airborne Gravity data has been collected in India. |
||||
As of today AMG is the first and the only organization to have been granted the Security Clearance to fly Gravity in India. The data acquisition for Kutch has only just been concluded and licenses for data sale will be available from the beginning of October 2009. The total Acquisition, Processing and Interpretation (API) for all the three blocks will be completed no later than June 2010. The data will be marketed jointly by AMG group and DGH and will be advertised on DGH official website. Also, this data will be part of the compulsory data package to be sold by DGH for the forthcoming NELP rounds. |
